About the Quality of Your Online Photos
When you upload your photos, we produce two types of digital photos: low-resolution (low-res) photos and high-resolution (hi-res) photos. The low-res photos are what you see when you view and share your photos on our website. The hi-res photos are stored in our system and can only be obtained by you through a hi-res download order. We use these hi-res photos to produce prints or enlargements.

Free, Unlimited Storage
Your low-res photos, used for viewing and sharing online, will remain in your Snapfish online account indefinitely.

High-Resolution Photo Storage
We store the hi-res versions of your photos in your account for 3 months (90 days) after they are posted online or from when you upload them to your account. This means that you can order reprints or enlargements as well as download your hi-res versions of those photos within the first 90 days. After that, only the low-res photos, suitable for viewing and sharing with friends, as well as for purchasing selected print sizes ( 6"x4" (150 x 100 mm), 7"x5" (175 x 125 mm)), will remain in your online account.

To preserve the hi-res versions of your online photos, you must purchase a print or enlargement of it or purchase it via hi-res download within the first 90 days of it being placed in your account. If a photo product mentioned above is purchased using the photo, the hi-res version will remain in your account.

Note to digital camera users: We recommend keeping a backup copy of all photos you upload to Snapfish on your own computer hard drive. That way, you will always have a backup of the hi-res versions of your photos.
